School Musings!!

Everyone always teased me that once Jacob went to Kindergarten that I'd get pregnant again-which I did! But, when Abby goes to school, I won't have that option, so it's going to be a VERY hard time for me. Abby and I were discussing it on the way home today and I asked her what I was going to do. She said I would be alone, so I told her that I was going to cry and cry when she goes to school. Her response was that she also was going to cry and be very sad--when I grow up and go to school! Imagine that !!

Those adorable puppies!!

Stephen, Abby and I went for what was supposed to be, a short trip to Bouctouche and ended up about 30 min north of where we were supposed to be. It turned into a little adventure...we saw these adorable golden retreivers in the back of a truck at Tim Horton's. They just about jumped out of the back of the truck when their owner came out with their treat:)

Summer is coming!!

Well, SUMMER IS COMING...and we're starting to think about all the fun things we can do!! Daddy goes to work and we hit the road!! At the end of the summer, we always have alot of adventures to talk (and scrapbook!) about. This was last summer at a family reunion in Cocagne...the kids, even Abby, all enjoyed the seadoo driven by my mom's cousin, Greg. This summer we're tenatively planning a trip to Niagara Falls. We'll see what happens! Jake enjoying a spin on the seadoo!
Abby, a bit hesitantly at first!!

Piano lessons...

This is for you, Aunt Jill...Ash and Jon started piano lessons tonight. Catherine Eagles is teaching them...she says she finds it hard to believe that you have nieces and nephews! I told Melissa that I was Jillian Brewer's sister-in-law, she said she knew a Jillian, but it couldn't be the same one...Sorry, but I had to admit it was and that we were related!! She is completely filled up, but is going to decide this week and may take me as a flute student, the kids and I would go the same night..we'll see!

Well, nothing exciting to report...I did get some much needed painting done yesterday while my husband and daughter were away. Thank the Lord for mothers who don't mind babysitting! We have wanted to move the last 2 years but God has not seen fit to allow it. We're praying this will be the year. We've got siding and new windows put in the house. We're in the process of papering and painting everything that needs done. We put a new toilet and tub surround in. The countertop and sink are sitting there waiting to be done. There are just a couple of more things to do to be ready. We'll see what this year brings!!

I'm going to be a mother of 5!!

Well, I made you look!! What I mean is, I found out today that for 2 weeks in June, I'm going to be mothering all of the above bunch minus 1!! Ian Geoffrey is coming to Auntie Angela's for an extended sleepover. Abby is already thrilled(she doesn't realize how long from now it is!). This evening when we said prayers before going to bed, we finished and then she said,"we need to ask God for Ian to come for a sleepover!" It should be fun, we're looking forward to it. I always wanted 5 kids....

Today is the last official day of March Break!

Abby talking on the phone to Aunt Jillian on Monday night..quite a diva!
This is the snow fort the boys have been working on over March Break. They had to take Pastor Fosmark over and show him their handiwork(he went through one of their steps!) This is the lovely picture he took, Ashley looks dressed for the weather, doesn't she!? We didn't have much planned for March Break, but the kids managed to keep pretty busy.

Watch it....

This is an incredible movie that we watched in Prayer Meeting tonight. It's not a normal thing that we would do, but Pastor thought this was an incredible Christian movie that is about people trusting God and getting revival in their own hearts and as a result, God does wonderful, impossible things. Half the church was crying in alot of parts, me included. It's amazing to see how God changes things once we surrender our hearts to him. This is made by an actual Baptist church in Georgia using people from their church. It's great and I recommend it highly, just have some Kleenex handy. You can actually rent it at Blockbuster!?!

Someone asked me why I didn't have any other pictures of Stephen on the blog for his birthday and I really don't have any. Someone sent me this one, but I couldn't download it, I have figured it out so here it is! He was 6, this was the class picture at EBCS.

Well, March Break is in full swing...

The kids have been complaining that we're not doing anything exciting..so I told them they could clean their rooms. They didn't think it was as funny as I did. Ashley is at Mom's for the day today, she spent last night at her friend, Katelyn's house. Who knows what the rest of the week will bring?!
