Happy Christmas Preparations...

I hope that everyone is enjoying the Christmas season and all the preparations that come along with it. It's easy to get frustrated at the line ups and busy-ness...but just step back and enjoy the season. Don't forget the reason that we give at Christmas. It's because God gave us the most precious gift of all, his Son. I challenge anyone who reads this to do what we've done with our children the last few years at Christmas. Find someone in need, whether financially or someone who is lonely, or just someone who would not expect you to be doing something nice for them, and then do something out of the ordinary for them this Christmas season. There's nothing better than giving a gift, big or small, to someone who is completely unsuspecting of it and seeing the surprise and enjoyment on their face. That's the real meaning of gift-giving as far as I am concerned.
